Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will have mastered the subjects proposed, so they are able to write about them, speak about them, and answer textual-analysis questions (Reading Comprehension) succinctly and correctly. By the end of the course, they will have erached a B2 level of French.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face, distance learning):
We converse in the target language. Face-to-face lectures (60 hours). Home learning.
Prerequisites and co-requisites:
Starting level of French: B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Course contents:
Students will enhance the grammar skills acquired during the previous year, improving their ability in joining technical discussions in different specialised fields. We will analyse in depth:

regular and irregular verbs

sentence formation

nouns and pronouns

false friends

The lexicon will be enhanced through the analysis of specialized texts – news, didactics, technology, history, etc. In this manner, pronounciation will be improved, as well as text comprehension and oral expression.
Assessment methods and criteria:
Continuous evaluation will contribute to final evaluation.
Written multiple choice test (2 hours):
