Language Policy

The official language of the SSML Verbum, which is used at an institutional, departmental and administrative level, is Italian. The subjects of the study plan are taught following three different language procedures: some of them are taught in Italian, others in a foreign language (French, Spanish, German, Russian), and others in two languages (a part of the course is in Italian and another in a foreign language).

If required by the Erasmus incoming students, the SSML Verbum organizes free courses of Italian language, aimed at supporting the integration of the foreign students.

Due to the characteristics of our degree course, in a frame of internationalisation, the SSML Verbum ensures that its outgoing students own the appropriate language competencies required by the Erasmus+ Programme.
